Heights Husband and Father:

James and Alicia have been married since 2002. They fell in love with Montana and expanded their business to Billings in 2005.  When looking for a home in Billings, the Heights area was a perfect fit.  They have two Billings born boys, Nathan who is 4.5 years old and Caleb who is 1.5 year old.   They have devoted themselves to teaching their children to love God, their family and their country.  They feel that Billings, in particularly the heights area, is the perfect place to raise their boys.

Heights Business Man:

James Knox started KBS Computer Solutions, Inc. 8 years ago as a one man computer shop.  Today, it is a multistate corporation employing 11 people in Montana and New Mexico.  James understands and is committed to bringing business to the heights.  When Heights citizens can remain in the Heights to purchase the services and items needed then the traffic issue will be lessened and the community will be a destination not a pass through.

James’ Qualifications:

• Owner of KBS Computer Solutions, Inc. which has been in business for 8 years and is a multistate corporation that employs 11 people.

• Leader in many organizations, such as Rimrock 4×4, Albuquerque Ski Club, Jeep Jamboree, BOSS and several BNI Groups.

• Active in community involvement through developing the Custer National forest travel plan, his local church, and other civic engagements. He also donates his time and resources to Yellowstone Boys and Girls Club, Heights Optimist and more!

• James is an active member of the Billings Heights Community Task Force.

• James sits on two Billings City Boards, the Traffic Control Board  and the Emergency Medical Services Board

• James understands that smaller government is a more efficient government.  A government that supports the rights of its citizens is one that listens and allows individuals to prosper and pursue happiness.

• James believes in the Founding Fathers and the principals they stood for.

• James believes the US Constitution is a perfect document that allows clear guidance, direction and clarity for our future. It also is the tool and guidance for citizens to use in order to correct the course the country may be heading.

• Member of the Billings Chamber of Commerce.

• Graduate of UOP with a Double B. S. degree in Information Technology.

James loves Billings and in particular the Heights. He will work to keep this a wonderful place to live and conduct business.  He is passionate about serving his community and seeing it prosper.
